CebuZone provides information and discovery tools about places, attractions, restaurants, destinations, and hidden gems in Cebu. You may browse places on an interactive map, view descriptions, photos, videos, and other content, save favorites, and submit recommendations.

You may submit places, recommendations, descriptions, images, links, videos, or other content through CebuZone. By submitting content, you confirm that:

By submitting content, you grant CebuZone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, format, modify, and adapt the submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve CebuZone. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to CebuZone — you retain ownership of what you submit. CebuZone may resize, crop, or otherwise technically adjust content for display purposes, but will not claim authorship of your original work.

CebuZone may review, edit, reject, remove, or disable submitted content at its discretion, including for moderation, quality, legal, or operational reasons. Submission does not guarantee publication.

CebuZone may feature photographs, videos, descriptions, recommendations, links, or other content submitted or provided by individuals, businesses, tour operators, guides, accommodation providers, transport providers, or other third parties, including content obtained through social media or other publicly available sources.

The appearance of a person, business, tour provider, guide, operator, or other third party on CebuZone does not mean that CebuZone employs, represents, partners with, sponsors, endorses, recommends, or is otherwise affiliated with that person or business, unless CebuZone expressly states otherwise in writing.

A contributor's submission or appearance on CebuZone should not be interpreted as a recommendation, certification, verification, or guarantee by CebuZone of the contributor, their business, their qualifications, their services, their prices, their availability, or the safety or quality of any activity or service they provide.

CebuZone does not act as a tour operator, travel agency, booking agent, guide, transport provider, or intermediary between users and third-party service providers unless expressly stated otherwise.

If you choose to contact, book with, pay, or otherwise engage a third-party provider featured on CebuZone, your transaction and relationship are directly with that provider. CebuZone is not a party to that transaction and is not responsible for the provider's services, representations, conduct, cancellations, pricing, availability, safety practices, or performance, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Users should independently verify the identity, qualifications, licenses or permits where applicable, pricing, availability, terms, and reputation of any third-party provider before making arrangements or payments.

If you provide a social media profile, website, or other online link for attribution, you authorize CebuZone to display that link alongside your contributor credit. The linked account or website remains operated by the third party, and the presence of the link does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation with CebuZone.

Contributions to CebuZone are voluntary and unpaid. CebuZone does not pay, and is not obliged to pay, any fee, royalty, commission, or other compensation for content you submit, whether or not it is published, and whether or not CebuZone later earns revenue from the website.

Instead, CebuZone credits contributors. If your submission is published, the contributor name you provide is displayed publicly on the relevant place page as attribution, and may appear alongside your submitted photos, videos, or descriptions and in CebuZone's own promotion of that content. Please submit a name you are comfortable showing publicly — you do not have to use your legal name. If you also provide a social profile link, it may be published as part of that credit.

Any email address or other contact detail you provide is used for moderation and record-keeping only and is not published on the website. See the Privacy Policy for how contributor contact details are handled.

CebuZone does not guarantee that credit will appear in any particular form, placement, or duration, and may adjust how credits are displayed as the website changes. If you would like your credit corrected or your published contribution removed, contact CebuZone at getreallycebuzone@gmail.com.

If you believe that content published on CebuZone infringes your copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights, please contact CebuZone at getreallycebuzone@gmail.com with a description of the content and the basis for your concern. CebuZone will review the report and may remove or disable access to the content where appropriate.

CebuZone may allow you to favorite or like places and to take part in other public interactions, such as indicating interest in visiting a place. You do not need an account to use these features where they are available.

These interactions may be subject to abuse-prevention mechanisms. CebuZone may remove, limit, or reject interactions if suspicious, automated, or abusive activity is detected.

Information about places, activities, access, roads, opening hours, fees, permits, facilities, conditions, and other details may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or subject to change without notice. You should independently verify important information with the relevant local authorities, property owners, operators, guides, or other appropriate sources before travelling.

Many places featured on CebuZone involve travel to remote or undeveloped areas and outdoor or physically demanding activities — including, but not limited to, hiking, trekking, swimming, canyoneering, waterfall visits, cliff or waterfall jumping, caving, diving, snorkeling, island hopping, and travel by boat, motorcycle, or unpaved road.

These activities and environments carry inherent and potentially serious risks, including injury, illness, drowning, falls, accidents, loss of or damage to property, and death. Conditions can change rapidly and without warning due to weather, tides, water levels, currents, terrain, rockfalls, wildlife, road conditions, crowding, local restrictions, closures, or the actions of other people.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CebuZone does not represent or guarantee that any place or activity is safe, open, accessible, legal to enter, properly maintained, adequately supervised, or suitable for you.

Information, photographs, videos, reviews, recommendations, and other content relating to third-party places or services may originate from third parties or publicly available sources. CebuZone does not necessarily verify or independently endorse such information. CebuZone is not responsible for changes made by third parties or for the acts, omissions, services, or safety practices of third-party operators, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

CebuZone's original website design, branding, software, curated text, graphics, and other original materials belong to CebuZone or their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

User-submitted content remains owned by the person who submitted it, subject to the license granted in the User-submitted content section above. Third-party content and embedded media — such as YouTube videos, map tiles, or external images — remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. CebuZone does not claim ownership over user-submitted or third-party material.
