Cebu Ocean Park

About Cebu Ocean Park

Cebu Ocean Park is a marine-life theme park and oceanarium at the SM Seaside Complex in Mambaling, Cebu City. Its exhibits cover Philippine freshwater and marine ecosystems, birds, reptiles and other animals, with a large oceanarium featuring an underwater viewing tunnel and main tank. Visitors can also watch scheduled animal presentations and choose additional experiences such as lory feeding, fish spa, SeaTREK and stingray encounters. It suits families, children and visitors looking for an indoor attraction.

What to expect

The main attraction is the Oceanarium, where an underwater walkway and 360-degree viewing tunnel provide views of marine life in large tanks. The Main Tank Gallery has a 7.2-meter-deep tank with a shipwreck backdrop, while Seven Seas focuses on reef-dwelling fish from Philippine waters. Other areas include Jungle Trek for freshwater fauna, Creepy Critters for reptiles and insects, and Lory Loft, a walk-in aviary with lories and lorikeets. Scheduled activities include bird shows, fur seal shows and main-tank feeding, although schedules can change. A typical visit takes around 2–3 hours, depending on whether you join optional animal encounters or spend time at the dining and other facilities. The mix of aquariums, birds and terrestrial animals makes it suitable for families and visitors interested in marine life and animal exhibits.

Know before you go

Admission is currently around ₱750 on weekdays and around ₱900 on weekends or holidays for online promotional rates; confirm the current ticket price before visiting. The park is generally open around 10am–6pm, with last ticket sales around 5pm, but confirm locally because schedules can change. The park is in the SM Seaside Complex, opposite SM Seaside, and much of the exhibit route is indoors. Allow extra time for scheduled shows and optional paid experiences. Weekends and later periods can be busier, so earlier visits may make the exhibits easier to view. Keep children supervised around tanks and animal-interaction areas and follow staff instructions during encounters.
