There is no single universal trail time because several approaches are used. Wear shoes suitable for mud and uneven ground, carry drinking water and bring rain protection. Avoid attempting unfamiliar trails alone, particularly in poor weather. Road conditions can deteriorate after heavy rain. For camping or longer hikes, arrange transport and a guide in advance and check local conditions before departure.
