About Temple of Leah

Temple of Leah is one of Cebu City's most recognizable hilltop landmarks, built in Barangay Busay as a grand tribute to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. Inspired by classical Roman and Greek architecture, the sprawling structure features towering columns, statues, grand stairways, and detailed stonework. Perched high above Cebu City, it also offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains, making it a popular destination for sightseeing and photography.

What to expect

The Temple of Leah is a hilltop monument in Busay, built as a grand Roman-and-Greek-styled tribute to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna — towering columns, statues, sweeping staircases and detailed stonework, laid out for photographs. From its terraces you also get a wide panorama over Cebu City and the mountains behind it. It is a short visit — walk the levels, take the shots, look at the view — and it sits on the same Busay ridge as Sirao Garden and TOPS, so most people fold all three into one afternoon loop.

Editorial review

The view here is lovely, but it becomes so much more meaningful once you learn the story behind why it was built. You really have to visit and read the inscription on the statue yourself—no spoilers from me!
